How to Make Homemade Filo Dough Part Two
November 13, 2011 in Breakfast, Dessert, Dinner, Recipes, Savory, Snacks, Sweet, Tutorials
You all have waited ever so patiently. I truly do appreciate it. This was an interesting process. I have only made one other tutorial video before and my son was behind the camera that time asking me questions and keeping my mind on the subject at hand. This time it was set on a tripod (my son was sleeping) so it was just me. The video started out with 40 minutes of content. I couldn’t subject you to that torture! 40 minutes of watching me??! No way! So for the first time EVER I edited the video! I am actually quite proud of myself! I hope you feel honored to share in my first baby step into Vlogging. I plan on doing more tutorial vlogs for you once we get settled in Missoula and I have all of my beloved supplies back. I ALSO plan on the videos getting better and better in quality as I go along, so please be patient and stick around.
Here are the things you will need to get you started. If you are making a dessert you may prefer to use melted butter for the layering like I did.
Ok. so are you ready for PURE entertainment (do you feel the sarcastic edge?) Get ready to be educated by a beginner on how to roll out beautiful, thin, delicate sheets of filo. My recipe for the pie in entirety will be posted on November 16th for Love The Pie Party hosted by Tidy Mom.
Enjoy my sweet readers, and again, thanks for being patient with my beginner video.
