Warm Herbed Olive Oil Dip and a Giveaway
December 5, 2011 in Dinner, Grilling, Meats, Recipes, Savory, Vegetables
***Update-Giveaway is Done. Come back soon! There’s another in the making!!***
Our family has a bit of an obsession. There are few foods more satisfying than a crusty loaf of bread to dip in warm, peppery olive oil. If left to our own devices, we would tear through a whole chewy loaf and cups upon cups of olive oil dip…and I am talking per person.
The trick to a truly amazing olive oil dip, is a truly amazing olive oil. I know I keep telling you this, but it is because it is so very true. Nudo Olive Oil is so good. It makes all the difference. I want to be able to share it with you all. This is another chance to win the olive oil gift set from Nudo. The entries are the same as before and this time, for each new friend you send my way (they need to tell me you sent them) when they follow my page you will get an extra two entries. WHAAAA??!!!!
If you have any left over oil (we RARELY do) it is delicious brushed onto so many other things…steak, chicken, fish, grilled veggies. ENJOY!
Warm Herbed Olive Oil Dip
- 1 cup Nudo Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp. chopped fresh rosemary
- 1 tsp. Montreal Steak Seasoning
Or (in place of steak seasoning)
- 1/4 tsp. cracked black pepper
- 1/2 tsp. sea salt
- ¼ tsp. crushed red pepper
- ¼ tsp. fennel seeds
Directions:
- Place all ingredients in a small sauce pan and heat over medium low heat until garlic begins to turn just golden. Take it off the heat immediately. Serve warm with crusty bread.
Be good sweet readers. But not too good! That’s boring ;)

I would definitely be making the dipping oil first thing. I would probably not get passed just eating it in a dipping oil, because I could practically just drink it like that. LOL no lie! Thanks so much for the opportunity to enter.
Your cookie recipe with the olive oil looks like a good way to use this product
my favorite way to enjoy olive oil is also to dip bread into it

Gorgeous. Our families could eat together just fine!! ;-) I love it when I think we don’t have anything to eat and then I remember that we have bread and olive oil… Love heating the oil, love toasting the bread, love it any way! Really nice post, Miss Montana. ;-))
We love dipping bread in olive oil too, and we love Montreal Steak Seasoning so this is a win in my book!
